Unaccompanied tour
Friendly hotel
One of the most popular MotoGPs of the year
With this tour we give you the freedom of combining your own holiday with a major motorcycle sporting event. You can choose the ferry times and dates allowing you to plan your own routes down to the prebooked hotel. Here you will enjoy three nights accommodation, breakfasts and evening meals. In our package we also provide you the circuit entrance ticket. On race day a coach will transfer you to the circuit, returning to the hotel after the racing.
The sound of almost 200,000 motorcycle race fans cheering on the worlds best riders on the most exclusive machines on the planet will make your skin tingle. Atmosphere is big in Spain as the Mexican wave sweeps the crowds massed in and around the perimeter grandstands. Motorcycle racing is the second biggest sport in Spain, only just being beaten in attendance and TV viewing figures by football and that passion blasts through at the GP.
With the season just getting into its stride the teams and riders will only just be adjusting to the new tyre rules so there will be plenty of interest and a few surprises. Of course all eyes will be on Valentino Rossi, now 29, fighting off strong challenges from younger more spirited riders like Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo and a revitalised Toni Elias leaving the difficult Ducati to return to the Honda fold. Along with outgoing world champion Casey Stoner looking to regain the crown and local lad Dani Pedrosa desperate to become world champion and always strong in front of his home crowd with a returning Sete Gibernau on a satellite Ducati after a two year sabbatical, the form book is well and truly out the window! However, none of these will ever match Rossi’s record of six top class world championships and sixteen rostrum places from eighteen starts in his record breaking 2008 campaign.
The Brits have loads to cheer for with James Toseland entering his second year and in the smaller classes Bradley Smith on a new very quick 125, Danni Webb from Pembury has made a great recovery from some mid season spills and Scott Reading looks to repeat his fantastic win at the GP at Donington.
